Key verses: Joshua 5:12-15; 6:1
12 Then the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the produce of the land; and the children of Israel
no longer had manna, but they ate the food of the land of Canaan that year.
The Commander of the Army of the Lord
13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man
stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for
us or for our adversaries?”
14 So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.”
And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His
servant?”
15 Then the Commander of the Lord’s army said to Joshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place
where you stand is holy.” And Joshua did so.
Joshua 6:1
Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in.
A PLACE OF TRANSITION
I believe there are millions of people who are in transitional place, it mean GOD is going to move you to where he
wants you to be.
God doesn’t want us to be at the same level, and I hope you feel the same. I believe GOD is a GOD of levels,
phases, stages, and transitions.
GOD says this, “The LORD our God said to us at Horeb, "You have stayeduh long enough at this mountain.
break camp”
God wants you to
ascend not descend
He wants more for your life than you know! He has big things in store for your life. BUT,
You must know and give ear to the voice of GOD and know when it is time to transition into the next step God has for
you.
The word came to JOSHUA,
“You will cross over to JORDAN to a land that I show you.
There is a place of crossing over. Place of separation from the wilderness to the land of promise (possibilities).

A separation from the wilderness, from a dry spell. From almost only making it and only surviving. The wilderness had/has a plan but that is not where GOD intends For the stay.
Moses - law that is why god didn’t allow him to the people to the promises land, but the law cannot get you there.

Join up with your leaders and your pastor and with the vision that he has for gods church.
When the new move of GOD begins to happen you either ignore it or make friends with it.
It took a Joshua/ power relationship. Joshua paints a picture of Jesus. There are thinks that god wants to unlock in
your life, but not until you connect to Jesus you will never take that next step of transition.
Joshua =JESUS - Jesus can take you there, because you can’t earn or deserve it, but by his blood and grace,
mercy over us,yet we were sinners but Jesus died for us!

It matters where you get power relationship in your life, not only with Jesus but with your leaders!
If the people of god had not connected with Joshua, they would have never gotten into the promise land.
The Bible says,
God begin to magnify Joshua in the eyes to the people.
When god is changing you or transitioning you, you’ll notice that god will do this and you see that god did this three
times in the O.T .
He changed the diet of people;
The church had three specific diets in the O.T.
First diet
In Egypt - they are leeks, garlics, onions. Let’s called that the food of bondage. When you are in bondage you eat
certain things and that everyone can tell that what you been eating. It is not had to tell what someone has been
eating because their attitude stinks. We can tell what you are consuming in your diet, if you are consuming,
bitterness, unbelief, Doubt, fear worry and depression. It all comes out in a stinky attitude. Word that come out of
your mouth.

you ever are going to get off of bondage YOU Have to start eating something you have never eating before.
Bible says do not be be conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.
If you are going to be transition. You have to change your diet and what you are consuming.
For forty Year’s, they ate (mana- what is it) the bread of uncertainty, that sustains you.
While you are wondering through the wilderness where you don’t understand what is going on.

Second diet
Kinda when you are saved, god will deliver you from a stinking attitude and says come on and
plants you in a church and it is excited at first but then you go through the wilderness, but that
wilderness is going to equip you with something called “mana”.
Own a space in the land of possibility.
Lease a space in the land of reality.
You don’t know what you gotten into and sometimes you question what is this.
But that is ok, we all at one point doubt and begin to question.
Stay strong and moving forward.
Now then there came the place of the crossover,
“ the mana ceist and they ate of the fruit of the ground”.
You comfort level in a place of transition, your comfort level must be challenged.

Your fruitfulness is linked to your discomfort zone. A woman who is pregnant a sign of fruitfulness is feeling discomfort
God has you right where he wants you. Joshua sees the angel of the lord and asks him,
“ Are You for us or for our adversaries?”
The angel - neither. If you want to have victory you have to get on god side because god is on
neither side, you work in his time And get no his side.
Joshua surrenders to the angel of the lord, Joshua was the captain of his people. But he surrenders to the authority of god.
Third diet
You can anything your willing to break the ground for.
You can have whatever you want and whatever you are willing to sow that will you reap..
Whatever you want to get of god that will you get.
That is why they changed their diet.
That why the Bible says;
